Lisa Albion, Associate

My practice is grounded in two core beliefs: that each of us has an innate drive toward wholeness, and that we all hold within us a deep, though sometimes hidden, self-knowledge. Because of this, my therapeutic approach is client-centred, holistic, and strengths-based, built on the understanding that we are each the best expert on ourselves. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can tune into their inner wisdom, guided within a strong therapeutic relationship and clear framework.

Before completing my counselling qualifications, I spent over thirty years working in education — across schools, aid and development projects, and universities in Australia, Canada, the Pacific, Southeast Asia, and the Balkans. This diverse, cross-cultural experience provides a rich foundation for my counselling practice and continues to shape the way I connect with and support clients from all walks of life.
